Christmas Gifts for Preachers (2025)
Every year I compile a list of suggested gifts for preachers, perfect to send to Santa—or to drop hints for your loved ones!
I have a blast perusing the internet to find gifts I know I'd enjoy and hope you would, too.
In fact, there are a couple I might go ahead and splurge on myself!
Merry (Early) Christmas, Preacher!

2. Things Could Be Worse® Mugs
What a laugh! And God knows we need more of those these days!
Here’s part of the description from the website:
“No matter how bad your day is going, these beautiful porcelain mugs graciously remind you things could be much worse. You could also be chased by UFOs, pestered by pirates, or plagued by giant frogs.
”These porcelain mugs feature Don Moyer’s drawing of a traditional blue-willow paradise discombobulated by more than a dozen calamities, perils, and pests. You’ll find...
Sasquatch
giant frog
pirates
cephalopod….
…and other suspicious animals and shrubs.”
Made from sturdy porcelain, these mugs come in various sizes and are sturdy and portable!
From Calamityware®, single mugs range from $22-29.00.
3. Banned Books Puzzle & Reading Checklist
This is brilliant!
From the website:
“Books often expand our minds and foster empathy by introducing us to people, places, cultures, and perspectives we haven’t encountered or considered before. Delight your favorite bookworms and bibliophiles with a puzzle featuring a curated collection of titles written by underrepresented voices in literature. It’ll be a great start for their next TBR (to be read) list.
Features more than 60 titles, including Pachinko by Min Jin Lee, The Fire Next Time by James Baldwin, Kindred by Octavia E. Butler, There There by Tommy Orange, The House on Mango Street by Sandra Cisneros, and more.
500 pieces. Puzzle measures 7” x 9” completed.”
And when you’re done putting together the puzzle, you can add book titles to the tokens for your TBR Jar!

4. Plants! Live or Faux!
I have two confessions.
Confession #1: I kill every plant no matter how often someone says it will survive even me!
That brings me to…
Confession #2: the plants in my office are faux!
Just the same, my pretend plants still make me feel good.
Whether alive or faux, plants provide a calm energy to any space. And if you’re like me, I’ll take all the calm I can get these days!
Live plants can be found at grocery, hardware, and garden stores.
I’ve had good luck finding high quality faux plants on sale from Pottery Barn and Wayfair, and at local thrift stores.
Wherever they are found, you’ll be glad to receive and add them to your space!
5. Book Darts!
This is the perfect stocking stuffer!
These bookmarks are a bit different in that they can be placed to point to the specific line you left off reading or want to reference in the future.
For example, you might have a bible commentary with multiple nuggets of wisdom that you want to find easily the next time you preach on the passage.
These darts are thin enough that you can place multiple darts on multiple pages in one book and the pages won’t get damaged.
Franklin Covey. $19.95 for a tin of 125.

This looks like too much fun!
